Recently I installed a graphics card to my dad’s computer and upgraded to windows 7. At least those 6 gigs of ram are kind of going to work. Got the graphics card because we just got into steam… sister likes to play Resident Evil 5.

I went in for an interview today. So after 5 months I guess I have a real job now

My parents keep asking if it was a mistake to come to the US. On one hand. UM YES IT WAS. On the other hand we wouldn’t have met so many awesome people. I wouldn’t have been able to study abroad… I wouldn’t know what I know now. With that being said I’m leaving next year~ if something catastrophic doesn’t happen that is. Hopefully before August

My parents are itching to go back to the caribbean and I keep trying to tell them to just move back NEXT YEAR! They’re just waiting for my sister to finish college. Thing is, she goes to UCF aka U can’t finish so at best she’s probably look at a Dec 2011 graduation. They should start planning to move by next summer. She can stay in an apartment till she graduates! Not a big deal.

Their controller free gimmick has, up to this point, been shown to be quite undeserving of any positive media buzz. You’re pretty much confined to 2 players, you CAN’T SIT while playing, the games for it are all shovelware you could have bought 4 years ago on Wii. Did I mention it was $150? What if your cat walks in front of you or a friend walks behind you? I mean what are these guys thinking?

Flipping Monkey. The Chaccot finishing powder came and it’s faaaar too dark! I gave it to my sister. I ordered another one in the lightest shade. Thankfully my foundation came and was the perfect shade ;D /boring talk.

I’ve been on the look out for a new bag. The one I have now is so plain, so very plain. I was contemplating buying a GOLDS infinity bag! But shipping would just jack up the price sooo much I decided I’d wait to find an interesting bag here.

What’dya know I found a pretty cool bag at Payless of all places. It cost me $21! While there I found a nice pair of shoes~ I don’t own a single shoe like the one I bought so win win. Is it remotley similar to those GOLD infinity bags? Not at all… it’s not even a chain bag but I still really like it.

Lately my foundation has been running on LOW so I decided to order lots of stuff. Including the same kanebo foundation but in one shade lighter Here’s one that came today:

I opened it and DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM a little too dark for me…
This photo does it no justice. It’s a light-medium sun burn color…

Not only is it too dark it’s also too orange. I’m afraid #2 would be too pink… and #1 is too light. [edit] already bought another one this time in #7 (Light Yellow Beige) I’m pretty pale and… yellow sooo here we go. -_- I’m just praying that the Chacott powder I ordered isn’t going to be too dark as well… If so it’s going to go to my sisters.

I’m still, as usual, on the search for the perfect pink lipstick but all I’m finding is crap. Either too dark, barbie, sheer, etc… also finding pale pinks but with purple or brown undertones (do not want). I bought a $20 smashbox pink lipstick that looked great when I tried it on my hands but when I tried it at home it was FAIL. $20 down the drain for something I actually did research on. I’m never buying expensive lipsticks again.

My philosophy: We’re all going to get cancer anyway.

Therefore I bought 6 NYX lipsticks for $10 on ebay All I can say is that these things WORK

I used to think these lenses were cool but they annoy the crap out of me too much. First of all… 14.2 and have no enlarging effect whatsoever. I think they make my eyes look smaller because I can freaking see my eye around the edges of the lens *sigh* Secondly they are uncomfortable. PERIOD. Thirdly my eyes look whatever the opposite of crosseyed is! NOOOO

Don’t even feel bad that they’re about 7 months old and are going to be kicking the bucket soon anyway.

When I get money I’m def getting a pair of giant pink lenses

In other news – the greedy pigs just started the ‘top kill’ method today. Not trying to jinx anything but just watch and see what’s going to happen. They say 60% success rate. This oil disaster is the last straw. Umm, yes we all contribute by consuming endlessly BUT $ is power and there’s no way for alt energy to set off when oil companies own everything; they’re not going to have it. I don’t want to live off the grid or like a caveman so I have to consume, sorry. That being said I’d still love to witness the burning of the higher ups of some of these companies. Does that make me a hypocrite? I don’t really care.

Don’t even get me started on the cowardice of our government. Everything is done for, not only are they cowards, they are also paid for and owned by who cares. Last night was a ton of fun! I had a gyro and fries before setting out to red lobster to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Since I have a giant sweet tooth me and my sister just ordered a desert when we got there. I decided I’d wanna actually try some kind of ‘alcoholic’ beverage and ordered a berry/mango daiquiri. Of course it was the weakest drink ever and isn’t intended on getting you drunk? I don’t know anything about these things!!! It was yummy but just far too sweet.

I finished off about half of it.

Then after that we went off to noraebang! FUN FUN It was hilarious. The owners can here our horrible singing and that makes me lol every time. After we got out of the room my friend borrowed the big monitor by the bar to play her mix of Korean and Japanese music videos It was hilarious.
